Since the publication of my book, "The Best Job in North Dakota" I've received both positive and negative emails

A farmer in Watford, North Dakota took the time to spread a little good cheer around by building these characters out of round hay bales and so I just had to stop and take this picture. There are two kinds of people in this world: those that are positive and those that are negative. The positive ones build and the negative ones destroy. Choose to be a positive person and you'll be surprised at the opportunities that will begin to come your way.

I'm surprised at how many emails I get from people who tell me that I'm full of crap when it comes to the kind of money I've made as a water hauler in North Dakota. It makes me sad for these people, because it just means that they have poor sources for information. In this life, we are only able to achieve based on the information we have access to. The better the information, the better the opportunities.

Once we have the information, our success depends entirely upon our mental attitudes. The funniest email I ever got was simply two words, F*** Y**! I honestly had to laugh at it, because I brush up with oilfield workers everyday with this F*** Y** mentality. It doesn't matter to me if a negative person doesn't want to buy my book, because I didn't write the book for them. I wrote the book, because I felt like I needed to share my success, so that others can have the same success.

I wish I could hold everybody's hand until they land the sweetest job in North Dakota, but I can't. What I can do is tell everybody to use the information in my book to assist them in their searches for the sweetest jobs in North Dakota. I have received emails from guys who have used the information in my book along with their own research to find lucrative jobs in North Dakota. I never realized that my book would actually be instrumental in changing peoples lives in such a big way.

It was always my hope to shed light on how to find the best water hauling job, but I guess I just didn't think about how far-reaching my book would be. I'm really glad I wrote the book and that some of those who have bought it are finding success.
